Struggling is a series of works reflecting the desire to achieve or attain in the face of unpredictable darkness.

This is my fourth year of using wine bottle glass as the main material of my jewelry. Working with glass is happy because of the versatility which offers possibilities and surprises to me. At the same time, the limitations of materials often brought me to the brink of collapse.

By heating, glass transforms from solid to liquid, then retune to solid again when the temperature drops. This seemingly simple process contains complex secrets, which makes me addicted to it. It is protracted challenging, but it really enjoys me. Time consumption has its own value, which offers more quiet introspections, the best way for me to move forward.

Sometimes, a better way to understand things lie ahead is to look back. When you find the things that you really care about, others become negligible.
